Pigeon Museum and Library
The World of Wings Pigeon Center is a project of the American Pigeon
Museum and Library and is located in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. The American Pigeon Museum and Library was founded
in 1973 to preserve the rich heritage of the domestic pigeon,
act as a repository for documents and artifacts related
to the family Columbidae and to serve as an educational
resource.

The World of Wings Pigeon Center houses pigeon literature,
memorabilia, and periodicals dating back to the 1800’s
in environmentally controlled resource library and museum
settings. On the grounds visitors can visit the Wright Learning
Center, the Gold Band Breeding Loft, the Fancy Pigeon Display
Center, the Roller loft complete with performing pigeons,
the National One Loft Race(s) facility which is home to
several hundred competitive racing homers from flyers across
America, a Scottish Pigeon Tower and the Memorial loft that
houses white pigeons for release at dedications, funerals,
weddings, etc.
The American Pigeon Museum and
Library is a private, non-
profit 501(c) (3) corporation organized exclusively for
charitable, educational, and scientific purposes.
